variety of oyster mushroom

An iconic feature of California's landscape, Eucalyptus trees are known for their unique texture and color. The intricate designs of eucalyptus bark add an enchanting dimension to the landscape and create a beautiful backdrop for your oyster mushrooms.

Can be safely stored for 2-3 weeks, so you can activate them at a time that works best for you. Please refer to the "Use by" date on your kit. Store in a cool dark place.

This grow kit does not require daily misting. Just place it on your kitchen counter or dining table and enjoy!

To help guarantee a fruitful grow, we recommend taking a look at the full care instructions on our page.

We 100% guarantee your first flush of mushrooms, and with enough patience and care, you should be able to get multiple flushes. However, your first flush will be the largest.

When you're done with your grow kit you can start your own mushroom patch by removing the substrate from the box and burying it in your yard with a layer of cardboard and some wood chips. Pick a shady spot under a tree and give it plenty of water.

  • The Blue Oyster

The blue oyster is the most robust and has the largest fruits. It's a very forgiving strain, making it great for beginners as well as experienced growers! The fruits start out brilliantly blue and turn gray as they mature. They grow best in cooler temperatures and can handle drier environments. If you're looking for a full-proof grow with large fruits then this is the way to go.

  • pink oyster mushroom grow kit

    The Pink Oyster

Pink oysters are strikingly beautiful and produce  flower-like bouquets of overlapping fruits. They  are stunningly pink when they're young, but start to whiten with age. Out of the three strains, these will most likely give you 2-3 flushes if the conditions are right. However, they prefer warmer temperatures and slightly higher humidity. A great choice for the summer months!

  • yellow oyster mushroom

    The Golden (Yellow) Oyster

Golden or yellow oysters will produce a higher number of fruits that are smaller than the other strains. They fruit sporadically from wherever they choose, and rarely fruit from all 4 holes at the same time. They are the most finicky of the three and require more patience. The mushrooms are delicate and have a shorter shelf-life so it's best to eat them 1-2 days after you harvest. This strain does well year-round.

Beautiful mushrooms!

This was a very easy grow kit and the mushrooms were delicious. There's such a big difference between eating fresh oysters compared to the ones I buy from the grocery store. I gave it 4 stars because it only grew from one hole, but it was a HUGE cluster. I'm hoping for a nice second flush too.
